Cornish Arts and Crafts Metalwork Exhibition and Book

I am pleased to announce that I am organising an exhibition of Cornish Arts and Crafts Metal Work to be held at the Royal Cornwall Museum in Truro during the summer of 2011. The exhibition will coincide with the publication of my new book on Cornish Arts and Crafts Metal workers which will explore the lives and work of craftsmen working in Cornwall. A special section will be added to my website once the book has been published.

Presentation of Newlyn Copper Book to Clifton College

J D Mackenzie (who helped establish and run the Newlyn Industrial Class) was educated at Clifton College in Bristol, so I was delighted to present a special copy of the book to the college in his memory.

Award for Newlyn Copper Book

I was suprised and extremely pleased to hear that the Newlyn Copper book had won a Holyer An Gof award (organised and presented by the Cornish Gorsedd to promote and encourage Cornish culture). I accepted the award which was presented in a ceremony in Truro by the Grand Bard.
